Time Management and Network Marketing Efficiency.
The concept of networking marketing or network marketing is a novel innovation of the last century which is blossoming now. Often confused with an activity that involves selling products, this is largely misunderstood. In fact that’s like saying a job is an activity that involves working overtime. Now we all know that that’s not what a job is about. How do we know? Because we work over time only in case of crisis or inefficiency and that’s because to WORK is something we have been taught to do.
Likewise, networking marketing implies people must be open to be taught to NETWORK. In case of crisis or inefficiency only would they get into sale of products.
What then is there to be taught about networking? If that’s what you’re wondering, look at the 16 years you spent at school and the many thereafter on on-the-job training. Just to get to where you’ve got. Contrast this with 2-5 years on-the-network training for 15 hours a week. Only to result in incomes to the tune of what professional sports persons, celebrities and corporate honchos get. Why wouldn’t anyone want to take the training seriously?
In the 1990s Mark Yarnell wrote a book called ‘You first year in Network Marketing’, where he shared some interesting statistics that relate to this subject.
The statistics show that although 95% of distributors in the network marketing industry fail, that for those of us who stick with one company for 10 years or more and actively participate in their business (meaning that they work at it at least part time), that 95% of them reach the top of the company’s pay plan.
And what’s the top of this compensation plan? Depends on the company but typically it provides in a month about what an average person makes in an year. Which also means that those 10 year results could be achieved in a year.
Thus the issue really is not whether networking marketing is viable, but rather whether people are willing to treat it as professionally as it deserves to be treated.
There is enormous intelligence required to learn the operation of networks. There are cutting edge strategies. Dealing with people calls for creativity of the highest order which helps develop every other aspect of one’s life. And none of this requires 16 years of formal education. It just takes a dream, shared with a team. Operated on a System.
